Surroundings
Hallowood’s 55 acres of hardwood forest are nestled in a valley at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain, partially surrounded by the 2,000 acre Monocacy State Forest. About eight acres of the land are cleared, and the Hallowood Retreat & Conference Center lies at the edge of the woods next to the lake. The building is designed to blend into the environment and to combine the natural setting into the meeting spaces.
The property includes an historic log cabin.
