Hiking

Nature beckons all around. Guests may stroll a trail in the woods or, when permitted on a seasonal basis, hike in the adjacent Monocacy Reservation State Park. Sugarloaf Mountain, a short distance away, provides over 25 miles of well-developed, marked trails year round, bicycling seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day, rock climbing, picnics and breathtaking vistas of the Maryland and Virginia countryside. Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is are also nearby.
