Hallowood offers two conference rooms as well as various outdoor meeting spaces that accommodate a variety of groups and programs.
Indoor meeting spaces
The main conference room is the ideal space for presentations, meetings, creative projects, and more. Find inspiration, fulfillment, and community in this open space boasting picturesque views of Maryland’s natural landscape. This room can accommodate about 50 guests.
The Hearthside Meeting Room is a versatile space that can fit about 20 people. Talk strategy over the table basked in natural light, or have a group-bonding game night in the cozy seating around the working fireplace.
Hallowood’s front doors lead into a spacious lobby, featuring comfortable chairs and couches, a piano, and working fireplace. This space is perfect for breakout sessions, private reflection, or warm conversation.
Outdoor meeting spaces
Take your gathering outside onto the amphitheater-style deck! The risers are perfect for presentations, celebrations, or worship services. Delight in the picturesque views from this covered meeting area while enjoying good company. In addition to the risers, the deck has Adirondack and rocking chairs.
Serving as an outdoor gathering area (as well as a walkway between the large conference room and the informal meeting room), the courtyard provides ample space for groups looking to make conversation, mingle, and unwind. Take a break in the Adirondack chairs, at the picnic table, or on the deck!
At the end of a short trail behind the retreat center, you’ll encounter the Holm Worship Center. Surrounded by trees, the outdoor amphitheater feels like a place away. Beyond the large cross you’ll see the pond. Settle in here for prayer, meditation, or renewal.
